“Acacia Path has been providing English language lessons for parents at Fane Street Primary School for a year now. Our parents come from many diverse countries from around the world, speaking many different languages and practising different religions and cultural traditions. We are all brought together every Tuesday afternoon for a joyous hour of language learning and laughter, expertly facilitated by Avril and her team of skilled volunteers. It has become a fixture of the school week that we couldn’t do without! Our church, Glengormley Presbyterian Church, have been involved with Acacia Path for almost a year. After an initial 'fact finding' meeting with Avril in December, she clearly guided us in how we could serve, both spiritually and practically.

Along with this guidance, Acacia Path helped with numerous practical issues, lesson plans and concerns surrounding cultural sensitivities.

This has been a new venture for our church and Acacia Path, Avril and her team, have guided us when necessary, but have always been there when advice was sought.
