Equipping Churches

Acacia Path seeks to serve churches by enabling them to facilitate English classes for people for whom English is not their first language. This is achieved by encouraging and mentoring volunteers from within your church community.

Volunteers are introduced to resources and shown how to use these effectively with individuals in classes. Where possible, Acacia Path will model lessons and assist you in becoming familiar with the materials and how to deliver them to students. As volunteers gain confidence, we gradually step back so that you are equipped to continue independently. We remain available afterwards for ongoing advice, encouragement, and support.

As part of this process, we also provide cross-cultural training, helping churches and volunteers to understand and engage well with people from diverse backgrounds.
